Might just add haloween GW for the fun of it. Like a special night in-game where there's some major prizes for the freakiest lookin costume (*cough necros cough*).
And maybe everyone gets a random item that's all of a certain quality (max, gold, purple, blue, minor, major, sup rune, ecto.......)

*sighs* the update will coem when the update comes. we all want it to be sooner rather than later but i would rather it come as bug free as possible. i am sure they are testing it over and over atm to find bugs. my mon ey also says it will come out next wednesday and not sooner.

Well putting all the information together. I have been trying to work out when it will be.

1. The frog says before the Equinox 22 September

2. This leaves a Minimum of 36 days.

3. Of that there is a possibility of 5 possible Update Wednesdays 24th 31st 7th 14th 21st

4. From a devs point of view the latest Wednesday is 21st 1 day before equinox. Which gives them maximum time to get it right and still deliver for summer 2005.

I think a week before Wednesday the 14th the fanfare will start rolling out. Press releases websites informed ECT. Big 7 day count down. ECT

It will not be a quiet update with no publicity will it. You will know well in advance

I guess I don't see the point in not giving us a release date. Is Anet still trying to get all of the bugs out? Or do they want to see how impacient we become? (Testing the water for the expansion?)

I know Anet does not owe us anything including a release date but at some point they have to realize that no game/expansion is prefect at release. Does anyone remember the constant date push back of HL2? You can hide the real date and try to fix everything bugged but no game is perfect. In the end there will be bugs (HL2 St...Stu...Studdering) and then everyone will complain that they had X number of time to fix it and did not.

Just my 1.5 cents
